Cathy Cline

Cathy, an award winning artist, creates unique and one-of-a-kind silver, gold, mixed metal and vitreous enamel jewelry as well as enamel art displays and functional work. “My passion is to express nature’s beauty, color, infinite variety and humor in my work.  As for my artistic expressions, I enjoy the rich color, depth of transparency and technical process that vitreous enamel presents as well as the challenge of creative metalsmithing and stone setting.  I also believe my background in water-media painting and nature photography influences my current direction.”

She taught jewelry and art for over 32 years in high school, community college and other venues and now participates in juried exhibitions, select art tours and galleries.  Currently her work is at the High Hand Gallery in Loomis, Calif., and the Gomez Art Center in Auburn, Calif., where she is an Artist in Residence.

Cathy has a Master's Degree in Jewelry Design, studied jewelry in London, England and Guadalajara, Mexico and has completed the Revere Academy’s Graduate Jeweler program. She has also taken numerous seminars and workshops from nationally and internationally known enamellists and metalsmiths.
