Ardith Gray

 

 

Ardith Gray is a honorary member of the North Auburn Artists. She has worked as a designer since Art School days and is a graduate of The Burnley School of Art in Seattle, San Jose State, BFA and San Diego State, MFA. Her undergraduate studies were in glass and textiles. She has taught Beginning Sewing, Theatre 101, Costume Design, Millinery, Fashion Illustration and Textiles. At TheatreWorks in Palo Alto she was Costume Director/Designer until she retired in 2002. She was assistant to the designers at the Royal National Theatre in London and has worked in the movie and theater industry. Her costume design work has been seen in over 25 theatre productions and most recently she designed “Robinhood, Men in Tights” at CSU, Sacramento. Ardith is an active participant with Auburn Old Town Gallery and the Placer Arts Art Walk.
